Since 2008, Agro-Know has been directly involved in about eighteen (18) EU-funded projects related to the management of agricultural information, in the context of which it has worked on solving data interoperability problems and developing data products. In this context, it has collaborated with European leaders in agricultural research such as the Wageningen UR (Netherlands), the French Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA), the International Center for Research in Organic Food Systems (ICROFS, Denmark), and the Council for Agricultural Research (Italy). Agro-Know has also received consultancy and implementation contracts from organisations such as the University of Alcala (Spain), Michigan State University (USA), the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA, Jordan).

These projects and contracts are handled by the Project Management department, which consists of high skilled, motivated people that manage projects using appropriate certified project management tools and techniques, in a way that promotes the company vision, goals and products, creates business opportunities and delivers value to the company, our people and the world. As the Project Management Director I manage three separate teams of people responsible for handling all the company projects and proposal writing activities.

Some of our most important members are Andreas Drakos who handles a number of high profile projects focusing on researchers and research organisations working in the agro-food sector and Katerina Galani who manages a number of projects focused on Green education and capacity building.

In order to keep our ideas fresh we constantly add new blood to the team. Our newest addition is Vassilis Kourousias who joined our team as intern. Agro-Know always welcomes new members who are interested in taking a peek in this magnificent world of EU-funded projects and helping us change the world (one project at a time). New job opportunities are available here.
