It has been quite a long time since we last interviewed any of our team members; and in the meantime we had some new arrivals in the team! This time, we are interviewing Christina Papachristou, a person that has undertaken responsibilities in the Human Resources team of Agro-Know.
Christina was kind enough to provide us with her responses to our questions, so let’s take some time and go through them!
You are one of the latest interns of Agro-Know. How did you find us at first place and what drew your attention in the Agro-Know job opening?
My archives tell me that I found you through a search engine machine, as I was searching for a fresh and exciting opportunity in HR. I read the advertisement of the job opening, and I knew I had to get to know this company (and its people) and get to work there.
What is your educational background and which is your current role in the Agro-Know team?
I have studied International Economics in Thessaloniki, then did a master in Industrial Economics at Warwick Business School (UK) and then a second master in Labour Economics at Sorbonne (Paris). Having worked before in various HR -but not only- related jobs, I have joined Agro-Know as an HR Culture and Development person.
What do you find interesting in your work with Agro-Know so far? Do you see any challenges in your daily routine at the office?
There is a lot of good vibes around the office but at the same time, a lot of serious work is going on, with high-caliber staff that are hard players! Being a part of this team makes everyday at the office is interesting!
But, the real challenge is plugging my laptop under the Athina’s or Dimitra’s desk in the morning!
You are responsible for tasks related to the Human Resources of Agro-Know; can you share some info on what are your main responsibilities?
I am responsible for making Agro-Know a smooth environment to work in with the help of my colleagues (yes all you!) and make sure that they are happy each day at work and progress. Also, of course, administrative HR stuff, such as leaves, job posting, interviews, trainings and so on (the boring list for tech staff continues…)
What are your hobbies / How do you spend your free time?
I like dancing (a lot) and concerts (a lot) and I am currently trying to learn a little bit of accordeon. Free time with friends, good books (that are almost like friends) and walking around the city or going for a bicycle ride!
Where can we find you online?
I like to be open-minded in music, but lately I enjoy discovering jazz and definitely, listening to every cassette of my fav kasetophono
Which was the last book you read / movie you watched?
What was the last gadget you bought and why you bought it?
Don’t remember, probably something that fell of my hands and was broken!
P.S. Don’t trust me with your precious cell phones
Anything else to share with us?
Yes, this Easter why don’t you try also this http://www.msfgifts.gr for a different present!
We would like to thank Christina for the lovely responses to our questions and wish her all the best for her new start in Agro-Know!
