Webinar: A Big Data platform for the future

BigDataEurope is a project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, aiming to facilitate European companies in building innovative multilingual products, applications and services based on semantically interoperable, large-scale, multi-lingual data assets and knowledge, available under a variety of licenses and business models. The project aims to provide a generic approach meeting a wide variety of needs, and in this context it encompasses all seven (7) societal challenges defined by the European Commission. Agroknow is a consortium member of the BigDataEurope project, representing the agri-food community in the Societal Challenge 2.

The BigDataEurope project is organizing a webinar titled “A Big Data platform for the future: Technical insights into the BDE Project“. The webinar will include inputs and presentations from experts responsible for the architecture, the implementation and the upcoming pilots roll-out of the BigDataEurope project, as they will be used to support all seven societal challenges (including food and agriculture). The audience will be given the opportunity to interact and the top questions will be answered by one of our dedicated technical and domain experts.

The webinar will take place on March 2nd, 2016 between 14.00-15.00 CET. Participation is free but a free registration is required.

You can follow the BigDataEurope project through Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare and Flickr.
