The importance of war rooms in times of warfare is proven for many many years now! The term “war room” is also used within the startup community and more specifically introduced in various approaches for customer and product development. Looking at a formal definition in Wikipedia, we see that:
A command center or command centre (often called a war room) is any place that is used to provide centralized command for some purpose. While frequently considered to be a military facility, these can be used in many other cases by governments or businesses. The first phase of our first attempt with “Lean”, in Lean AKademy is coming to an end! Only one meeting left, and the teams have really started to grasp the problems they are tackling, acknowledging their customers as well as the alternatives they currently use to solve their problems! For this sixth meeting, once more, we focused mainly on the interviews and their results, only spending a few minutes discussing on theory. We will have enough time to go into greater depth about channels, metrics, pricing and more, in the second phase of the Lean AKademy!

It’s no secret that Agro-Know has grown a lot since its launch some years ago, back in 2008-2009; when we first got into our office in Vrilissia in January 2011, we were a bunch of people with a lot of ideas and eager to work, but with no company structure, no clear allocation of responsibilities, a lot of overhead and overlapping work etc. Since then, the team has significantly grown in number, we have made a lot of progress and most of these issues have been fixed.
