The Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK)


IMARK_logoThe Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK) is “a partnership-based e-learning initiative that aims to enable development practitioners to acquire skills, competences, behaviors and attitudes in knowledge sharing and information management“. IMARK was established back in 2001, it is lead by UN FAO and coordinated through a Steering Group consisting of thirteen organizations, including the Commonwealth for Learning, the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA), the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

agriMoodle: The “green” version of Moodle


Moodle, an acronym for “Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment”, is a free and open-source learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. It is a user-friendly tool which allows tutors to create, host and deliver courses, which can be enhanced with various functionalities and additional supporting material. A number of available functionalities also facilitate its usage by the learners who decide to participate in one of the courses hosted in a Moodle instance.
